The Attorney General's Office has opened the opportunity to participate in a consultation meeting held to consult with civil society organizations working in various areas of human rights regarding the report to be submitted under the fourth cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

The UPR is a review conducted by the UN Human Rights Council every 4.5 years to assess the extent to which human rights are protected in UN member states, the human rights situation in those countries, and the extent to which international human rights treaties are being implemented.

This consultation meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Attorney General's Office. The Attorney General's Office has extended an invitation to civil society organizations wishing to participate in this consultation meeting to complete the registration for participation through this link before 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

The Attorney General's Office has also stated that they will share additional information related to the meeting with those who register to participate in this consultation meeting.
